I have a flat line panel finishing system and some secondary sawing and edge finishing. I have two wide belt sanders associated with the coating line, a Holzma panel saw and three double end tenoners. While my mix varies slightly with orders, over time my dust would consist of >98% MDF, Moisture Resistant MDF and Tempered Hard Board (THB) I do not own a briquette machine so my dust is currently hauled to a landfill. I can save some $$ by reducing the volume i send to the landfill, but not enough to justify the purchase of and operating cost of the machine. Our company is committed to preserving the environment. We have a VOC free coating line:) I believe if i could find an outlet for the dust or briquetts, we would become a supplier into the briquette market. In addition to dust I generate ~5 ton per week of trimmings from my saw. I do not own a grinder, but would possibly grind and sell grindings and/or briquette as well.
